Sometimes, I get a little carried away. I go through periods in my life where I feel like I don’t have enough to do – so then I take on too much. When I started QotC, I was having one of those moments. While I’ve loved sharing ideas and getting feedback from everyone, this project is just a little too much right now.
Business has been booming over at the Dumplin Design Studio – so much that I even opened up my own online portfolio to keep up with all the work I’ve been doing. Staying busy with my on-the-side business, a personal blog, a home management blog, and my crazy life has just become too much right now. For this purpose, I’m simplifying.
Don’t worry, though. I’m not going off the grid completely. I am redirecting my readers towards the other blogs I own to stay with me – just not at QotC. I’ll be posting home management, parenting, and baby/toddler/kid ideas and articles on my personal blog, Randomness by Shay. And all freebies, productivity hacks, and web finds, can be found on my new portfolio, shaybocks.com.
I hope my readers will stick with me as I simplify and make things a little bit easier for now. I’ve got some big things to share soon – including Ronnie’s 2nd birthday party and more toddler learning activities!
In other news, Rob is home again – thank goodness. We’re going crazy in birthday mode trying to get everything ready for Ronnie’s 2nd birthday next week. We made it to the Louisville Zoo this week and I’m hoping to get the pictures from Megan soon so I can post them. We had a lot of fun!
We went out to Louisville again today to see the Easter Bunny at St. Matthews Mall and to pick up some birthday clothes for the munchkin. Can you believe the cheapest picture package they had was $18.00??? What happened to paying 3 bucks to get a photo. That’s just absolutely ridiculous!
Hope I have more time to let it all out soon – I’m just so busy these days!0
